Presentation

Primary amenorrhea, abdominopelvic pain and progressive distention.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Female

The right kidney is ectopic and adhered to lower pole to left kidney inferring cross ectopia.
Severe hydronephrosis and parenchyma atrophy are seen at right ectopic kidney. Additionally, moderate hydronephrosis is observed at left kidney. The left kidney shows normal parenchyma width. The ureters are not dilated.

The vagina, uterus and right fallopian tube are severely distended and contain hemorrhagic products.
The urinary bladder is distended and its lower segment is compressed by distended vagina.

Case Discussion

Features are compatible with hematometrosalpynx.
There are also cross ectopic right kidney with ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO)
