A well-defined focal lesion in segment VIII of liver measuring 3.5 x 3.2 cm is noted containing fat. The lesion shows arterial enhancement with gadolinium and wash out on delayed images. Minimal restricted diffusion is noted on the diffusion weighted imaging. These features suggest underlying hepatic adenoma. Background liver is non-cirrhotic.
Case Discussion
Characteristic features of hepatic adenoma without any complications.
Imaging monitoring and serum alpha-fetoprotein levels correlation was suggested.
