Presentation

Elevated liver enzymes in a young woman with long standing steroid therapy for systemic lupus erythematosus.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
ct

The hepatic attenuation value is less than that of the spleen, suggesting fatty liver.
Multiple (at least ten) well defined hyperattenuating lesions are seen in the liver less than 40 mm. The masses show homogenous enhancement on post contrast images.

A 35 mm thin walled non-enhanced cyst is present in the left ovary.

Ultrasound guided core needle biopsy was performed for the hepatic masses, and histopathology findings confirmed a hepatic adenoma
