Hepatic artery pseudoaneurysm rupture

Presentation

Non-specific presenting complaint. Mild upper abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 85 years
Gender: Female

Ruptured 13 x 10 mm arterial pseudoaneurysm arising via a narrow neck from the replaced right hepatic artery (a proximal branch of the SMA). Surrounding hematoma in the root of the small bowel mesentery and tracking into the left anterior pararenal space of the retroperitoneum.
