Hepatic cirrhosis with portal hypertension and massive ascites

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Shrivelled liver, most probably due to cirrhosis. Many portosystemic collaterals (varices) and massive ascites, attesting to uncompensated portal hypertension. Ascites also filling left inguinal hernia.
