Multiphase CT liver
Severely nodular outline to the liver.
Several small cysts measuring upto 1 cm. No enhancing liver lesion.
Splenomegaly measuring 16 cm.
Large splenic varices predominantly arising from the left renal vein and a distended left ovarian vein.
Gallstones.
The remainder the solid organs are normal.
Case Discussion
Severe liver cirrhosis with portal hypertension and splenic varices.
The appearances in this case are really advance with a extremely nodular outline to the liver, along with splenic varicies. The anatomy of the left ovarian vein is well illustrated as a result.
