A peripheral, dense, spotty enhancing mass, approximately 70×52 mm in diameters, is seen at the right liver lobe (Couinaud`s nomenclature), on early post contrast phase. In the equilibrium phase the attenuated areas spread through the mass and filling in. The density of enhancing components is almost the same as that of aorta in all phases of CT scan.
Case Discussion
Features on CT scan are typical for hepatic hemangioma which is the most common benign vascular liver lesions.
