Hepatic hemangioma

A rounded hypodense lesion is seen on segment VII of right hepatic lobe. It is of homogeneous hypodense texture, hypoenhancing on arterial phase with tiny peripheral nodule of enhancement, peripheral nodular interrupted enhancement on portovenous phase, and partial fill-in on delayed phase, typical of hepatic hemangiomas.

Case Discussion

CT features are typical of hepatic hemangioma. It is usually and incidental benign finding with characteristic pattern of enhancement on CT.
