Hepatic hydatid cyst

CT scan shows a large cystic lesion in the posterior segments of the right hepatic lobe which contains smaller "daugther" cystic vesicles, characteristic of hydatid cyst. There is also evidence of compression and posterior displacement of the right kidney.
Case Discussion
Serologically proven as hydatid disease (incidental finding).
