A 100 x 75 mm cystic lesion with internal layer detachment is noted at right liver lobe. The detachment of the endocyst membrane floating within the pericyst is called "water-lily sign".
 

Case Discussion

Features on MR images are typical for hepatic hydatid cyst which is a parasitic zoonosis caused by the Echinococcus tapeworm.
