Two thick walled cysts are seen at the liver without calcification or enhancing solid components, measuring 130×90 mm and 110×108 mm in diameters. The largest one shows a multivesicular appearance, inferring hydatid cyst.

Focal parenchymal thinning is noted at the upper pole of the right kidney, inferring a scar.

Right fat containing Spigelian hernia is observed.

Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the lumbar spine.
Postoperative changes and evidence of CD insertion are present at the thoracolumbar spine.

Case Discussion

The patient underwent liver cystectomy, and histopathology evaluation confirms hydatid cysts.

The liver is the most common site of hydatid infection.
