Case Discussion

MRI in a 40 year old woman who is pancytopaenic on azathioprine for severe Crohn disease demonstrates numerous liver lesions which are low on T1 and high on T2 weighted sequences, without fat (no drop out on out of phase sequences) and demonstrates extensive contrast enhancement.

Biopsy confirmed hepatic peliosis.
