Hepatic peliosis

Presentation

Pancytopenia, on azathioprine for severe Crohn disease.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
MRI

Liver

 MRI demonstrates numerous liver lesions which are low on T1 and high on T2 weighted sequences, without fat (no drop out on out of phase sequences) and demonstrates extensive contrast enhancement.

Case Discussion

Biopsy confirmed hepatic peliosis.
