Presentation

History of alcoholism and liver cirrhosis.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
ct

Large heterogenous soft tissue mass in the right lobe of the liver, with a well circumscribed but irregular border. The mass shows heterogenous peripheral and central enhancement in the arterial phase. There is early washout as the lesion is hypodense relative to the enhanced hepatic parenchyma on portal venous phase imaging with coronal/capsular enhancement. Portal hypertension, esophageal varices, minimal perihepatic ascites, and splenomegaly are noted.
