Hepatocellular carcinoma in cirrhotic liver

Presentation

Abdominal pain with elevated liver enzyme and ESR.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

The liver has an irregular margin and parenchymal nodularity in keeping with cirrhosis. 

A 110 x 90 mm partially exophytic hypervascular mass with delayed washout and large central necrotic components is noted in the liver. Also, a 25 x 20 mm ill-defined heterogeneously enhancing mass is present at segment 7 of the liver. 

A few subcentimeter simple renal cortical cyst.   
Degenerative changes as osteophytes are seen at the lumbar spine.
Mild scoliosis with leftward convexity.
