Coronal C+ portal venous phase

CT scan of the abdomen post trans-arterial chemoembolization (TACE) shows the typical expected result in treated lesions, which appear hyperdense. Unfortunately, the pre-TACE CT was not available for comparison.
The liver is cirrhotic and small volume of ascites is visible.
Case Discussion
TACE is a common treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma. For some types, it is considered first line treatment.
