Hernia of tibialis anterior muscle - bilateral

Complaining of bilateral mid leg swelling or bulge with pain for past 2 weeks.

Patient Data

Age: 45 yrs
Gender: Male

At the site of swelling/bulge pointed to by patient, there is a defect in the fascia with hernination of underlying muscle through it. Herniated muscle appears more hypoechoic than normal muscle echopattern.

Right leg defect - 8 mm

Left leg defect - 6 mm

There is no collection or other local mass lesion.
