Hiatus hernia with organo-axial volvulus of stomach

The chest x-ray shows a retrocardiac opacity with no visualization of the gastric air-bubble under the left hemidiaphragm.
The selected images from the barium meal reveal an intrathoracic displacement of the stomach including the gastric fundus and gastro-esophageal junction through a large esophageal hiatus with oregano-axial volvulus of the stomach and prominent tertiary waves of the lower esophagus.
