Case Discussion

Cardiac pacemaker is demonstrated and the lungs are clear.  Below the diaphragm are multiple surgical clips and correspond in location to the region of stomach innervation by the vagus nerve.

This is the post-procedural appearance of a highly-selective vagotomy performed because of recurrent peptic ulcer disease in the 1980s..
