Biopsy proven lung cancer. Follow up on chemotherapy. Disease status?

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Large spiculated left hilar mass. Hyperinflated lungs in keeping with COPD. Tiny left sided pleural effusion. 

Case Discussion

Typical appearances of a hilar lung malignancy. The spiculated margins are very indicative of malignancy. The hilar angle is completely obliterated.
