Presentation
History of trauma, now complaining of left shoulder pain.
Patient Data
PD fat-sat images show hyperintensity in anteroinferior labrum, extending to anterosuperior labrum. Posterior labrum appears normal.
Small compression fracture seen along the posterolateral aspect of head of humerus.
Small interstitial tear seen in posterior fibers of infraspinatus tendon.
Mild supraspinatus tendon seen with no obvious tear.
Edema is seen in rotator interval with possible sprain of superior and middle glenohumeral ligaments.
Minimal marrow edema is seen in distal end of clavicle with subcortical cyst.
Subscapularis tendon is unremarkable.
Case Discussion
Hyperintensity in anteroinferior labrum, extending to anterosuperior labrum consistent with Bankart lesion. Small compression fracture seen along the posterolateral aspect of head of humerus consistent with Hill-Sachs lesion.
