Atrophy of cord is seen with reduced AP diameter from C5-6 to C6-7 levels. On flexion, anterior displacement of posterior dura is seen with significant prominence of posterior epidural space.
No convincing intramedullary hyperintensity is, however, seen in present scan.
Case Discussion
In the given clinical context, the findings are suggestive of Hirayama disease.
