Patient Data

Age: 1 day

Plain film demonstrates a markedly dilated colon, with no gas in the pelvis / rectum. 


Stenotic segment is seen at the rectum and recto-sigmoid with proximal dilatation of the proximal colonic segments.

Hirschsprung disease in a 1 day old with involvement of most of the colon.
