Prior asbestos exposure. Chest clinic attender.

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male
X-ray

Large bilateral midzone calcified pleural plaques with jagged edges.

Calcified pleural plaques on the left hemidiaphragm.

Lungs clear.

Case Discussion

Calcified pleural plaques occur in the context of asbestos exposure.

The larger plaques take on a holly leaf configuration.
