Radiographs revealed an extra-articular spiral fracture of the distal third of the humerus with lateral displacement. This describes a Holstein-Lewis fracture.
Case Discussion
Holstein-Lewis fractures are extra-articular spiral fractures of the distal third of the humeral shaft. They are reported to have an increased rate of radial nerve palsy.
