Horseshoe kidney

Horseshoe kidney with a right-sided double-J catheter in position.

Multiple stones are seen in the right middle and lower collecting system the largest measuring around 10 mm.

There is around 6 x 4 mm right distal ureteric stone along the course of the catheter.

Multiple stones are also seen in the left calyceal system the largest measuring around 10 mm.

There is moderate left-sided hydronephrosis and hydroureter without evidence of left ureteric stones.

Underfilled urinary bladder with Foley's catheter in satisfactory position and containing small gas pocket.

Mild prostatic enlargement is noted.

Double-J stents are seen bilaterally in a good position.

Multiple faint radiopaque stones are seen in the right paravertebral region, ranging in size between 2.5 and 8 mm.

These radio-opaque shadows are seen medial to renal shadow present stones in a horseshoe kidney.

Few faint stones are seen also on the left side, the largest measures about 9 mm.
