Urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections and right loin pain.

- Horseshoe kidneys with the renal ismuth is seen extending across the midline as well as malrotated both kidneys.
- Moderate right hydronephrosis with significant thinning of its parenchyma.
- Moderate right hydroureter with dilated ureter all through its course till the lower end with abrupt termination and return to a normal caliber just above the vesico-ureteric junction. No distal ureteric obstructing masses or stones.
- No left hydronephrosis or hydroureter.
- No renal masses.
- Normal urinary bladder.
Case Discussion
Horseshoe kidneys with moderate right hydronephrosis and hydroureter as well as significant right renal parenchymal atrophy; most likely due to obstructive primary megaureter rather than refluxing primary megaureter or vesicoureteric reflux.
