Left arm hit from behind by truck, whilst cycling on motorway.

Patient Data

Age: 35 year old
Gender: Male

Transverse fracture of the surgical neck of humerus and distal humeral metaphysis. Humeral shaft is absent. Several bony fragments are noted within the upper arm. Surgical emphysema throughout upper arm and extending into the glenohumeral joint space.
