Clinically anterior dislocation of the right shoulder.

Patient Data

Age: 40-year-old

Right shoulder radiographs

Modality: X-ray

Anterior shoulder dislocation associated with comminuted fracture of the greater humeral tuberosity. 

Right shoulder radiographs (after reduction)

Modality: X-ray

Radiographs obtained after reduction demonstrating relocated humeral head.  

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates an uncommon proximal humerus fracture: isolated greater tuberosity fracture, which frequently presents associated with an anterior shoulder dislocation
