History of pain at the right shoulder since this morning after he slipped and landed on his hands while walking, on examination: limitation of movements in the right shoulder joint.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

Right shoulder

x-ray

Fracture in the greater tuberosity of the right humerus.

No dislocation is seen.

Case Discussion

Humeral greater tuberosity is the place where three muscles of the router cuff attached, so the fracture here limits the shoulder stability and movement.
This fracture generally happens in traumatic injuries, car accident and fall and in a dislocated shoulder.
