Presentation

Slipped and fell on an outstretched arm, on examination: pain in the right shoulder, no swelling, no open wound, no deformity.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male
  •  non-displaced fracture greater tubercle of the right humerus
  •  narrowing of the right AC joint space
  •  no bony erosion is seen

Most non-displaced humeral greater tubercle fractures are successfully treated conservatively (non-surgically)
