Transverse fracture of mid shaft of humerus is noted with lateral displacement and posterolateral angulation of distal fracture fragment. There is also proximal migration of distal bone resulting is shortening of bone.
Case Discussion
Humeral shaft fractures accounts for 3-5% of all fractures and are associated with great risk of radial nerve injury which is situated in spiral groove in posterior aspect of humerus.
