Large right hydrocele with fluid that extends up the inguinal canal. Appearances are of a communicating hydrocele. Normal testes.
Case Discussion
There is a large hydrocele on the right with normal testes. The fluid in the tunica extends into the inguinal canal, all the way to the deep ring. Appearances are most in keeping with a communicating hydrocele. This was confirmed surgically and the patent processus was ligated.
