Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Palpable swelling just left of the midline at the pubic bone, radiating discomfort towards labium majus and left leg

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

round cystic lesion with tubular extension towards the left labium majus. No connection to peritoneal cavity observed.

Case Discussion

Incomplete obliteration of the canal of Nuck can result in a hydrocele. The canal of Nuck is an abnormal patent pouch of peritoneum extending anterior to the round ligament of the uterus into the labium majus
