Acute onset of dyspnea. History of pulmonary tuberculosis.
Patient Data
Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
From the case:
Hydropneumothorax
Frontal

Vascular markings are absent in the left lung field suggestive of collapsed left lung. Air-fluid level seen on the left side suggestive of hydropneumothorax.
On the right side, there is a cavitary lesion with surrounding fibrosis noted in the upper zone.
Mediastinum is shifted towards right side.
Case Discussion
Spontaneous pneumothorax is frequent in fibrotic pulmonary tuberculosis, but it seldom complicates active tuberculosis.
