The patient hit her head on a cruise ship in rough seas 3 weeks ago and complained of aggravating neck pain, numbness and weakness in her right hand.

Unstable burst fracture with osseous material protruding into the spinal canal and the right neuroforamen.
Case Discussion
On the T1 and STIR images findings are suspicious for an injury of the right interarticular portion and inferior articular process of T1, that would mean involvement of all three columns. CT is mandatory for treatment planning in this situation.
