Extensive symmetrical thickening of the frontal bones.
Established periventricular small vessel ischemic change. Several small benign foci of calcification.
Case Discussion
Hyperostosis frontalis interna is a fairly common finding on CT head in the elderly population. In some cases, like this one, this benign overgrowth of the inner table of the frontal bone is florid.
It is incidental and of no clinical significance.
