Acute right side hemiparesis.

Patient Data

Age: 67
Gender: Male

Findings of non contrast CT of the brain : an acute intracerebral haemorrhage centred in the basal ganglia of the left side, with extension into the ventricle. 

Case Discussion

This type of bleed is characteristic of a basal ganglia haemorrhage secondary to hypertension
