Acute right side hemiparesis.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

Findings of non contrast CT of the brain : an acute intracerebral hemorrhage centered in the basal ganglia of the left side, with extension into the ventricle.

This type of bleed is characteristic of a basal ganglia hemorrhage secondary to hypertension
