Hypertrophic olivary degeneration

A region of hemosiderin staining with blooming artefact is seen in the right side of the pons consistent with a prior hemorrhage. There is likely an underlying cavernoma. The inferior olivary nucleus demonstrates striking increase in T2 signal and is swollen. No contrast enhancement.
