Right knee pain.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male

Right knee

Periosteal reaction around the right knee without an underlying bone lesion.



The subsequent chest radiograph revealed a lung mass, which ultimately was biopsy-proven lung adenocarcinoma. 

Case Discussion

Periosteal reaction around the right knee joint without an underlying bone lesion; hypertrophic osteoarthropathy secondary to primary lung cancer in this case.
