Hypopharyngeal sqamous cell carcinoma

Patient presents with difficulty in swallowing.

Age: 48
Gender: Male

CT neck

CT images with oral and IV contrast revealed segmental narrowing at the level of hypopharynx with extension into cervical oesophagus.

Case Discussion

Patient presented with complaints of dysphagia. CT revealed narrowing at hypopharynx with extension to the oesophagus. A possible diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma was made, and subsequent tissue biopsy confirmed the same.
