Case contributed by A.Prof Frank Gaillard

Case Discussion

X-rays of the wrist and knee of a seven month old child demonstrates widening of the metaphysis with slight fraying and cupping of the growth-plate margins. The features are consistent with rickets, which in this case are due to hypophosphataemia.
