Diffuse centrilobular emphysema, with development of large bullae at both upper lobes.

Large bulla is noted at the right lung posteriorly, measuring 9.8 x 13.8 x 20 cm in dimensions.

Case Discussion

CT features of bullous lung disease, with giant emphysematous bullae affecting the upper lobes, the largest on the right side occupying more than one-third of right hemithorax. It carries high risk for pneumothorax and lung cancer.
