Headaches with blurred vision

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

The MRI sequences show:

  • vertical tortuosity of both optic nerves
  • enlarged subarachnoid spaces around the optic nerves
  • mild flattening of the posterior sclera
  • enlarged Meckel cave bilaterally
  • partially empty sella turcica
  • hypoplastic left transverse sinus and distal stenosis of the right transverse sinus on the MRV 2D-TOF

Note filling of the right maxillary sinus with peripheral mucosal thickening of the left maxillary sinus (chronic sinusitis)
