Idiopathic intracranial hypertension

Sellar space is empty and enlarged showing CSF signal on all pulse sequences without significant displacement of the infundibulum.
Prominent subarachnoid spaces around optic nerves.
Flattening of the posterior sclera and protrusions of the optic nerve heads in eye globes bilaterally.
Normal opacification dural venous sinuses including superior sagittal sinus, inferior sagittal sinus, straight sinus, transverse and sigmoid sinuses are noted on contrast-enhanced MR venography.
Case Discussion
Idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Causes of venous obstruction such as venous thrombosis can mimic the findings.
