Idiopathic intracranial hypertension

The MRI sequences demonstrate:
- vertical tortuosity of the optic nerves
- enlargement of the subarachnoid space around the optic nerves
- protrusions of the optic nerve heads
- partially empty sella turcica
- enlarged Meckel cava
- reduced caliber of the left lateral and sigmoid sinuses on the MRV
- no mass lesion is seen at the infra- or supratentorial level

Clinical examination demonstrated bilateral papilledema. MRI features of an idiopathic intracranial hypertension.
