Idiopathic intracranial hypertension

The MRI sequences demonstrate:
- flattening of the posterior sclera bilaterally
- protrusion of the optic nerve heads
- moderate enlargement of the subarachnoid space around the optic nerves
- empty sella turcica
- moderately enlarged Meckel cave
- Bilateral smooth stenosis of the distal segment of both transverse sinuses on the MRV
Mucosal thickening of the sphenoid sinus with partial opacification of the ethmoid air cells.
