Idiopathic intracranial hypertension

- vertical tortuosity of the optic nerves
- enlargement of the subarachnoid space around the optic nerves
- flattening of the posterior sclera bilaterally with protrusion of the optic nerve heads mainly on the right
- moderately enlarged Meckel cave
- the MRV 2D-TOF shows hypoplastic transverse sinuses mainly on the left
- normal appearance of the posterior cranial fossa and supratentorial cerebral structures

MRI features most consistent with idiopathic intracranial hypertension in an adolescent.
