Case Discussion
An intussusception in an adult should raise suspicion of a neoplastic lesion at the lead point. This was confirmed to be a Dukes C1 T3 N1 adenocarcinoma of the caecum which had intussuscepted into the ascending colon, bringing some ileum with it.
